Our Early Childhood Curriculum
We use research-based curriculum which promotes learning through age appropriate activities and developmentally prepared materials that make learning fun and engaging. Curriculum includes math, science and reading skills as well as musical and artistic creativity, listening skills and more. We send a calendar of scheduled activities home with your child each month to keep you current on upcoming events.

ABC Great Beginnings West Valley Child Care Center is excited to be a part of this great Healthy Way to Grow program, which comes out of the American Heart Association. Healthy Way to Grow is science based and designed to help reverse childhood obesity by improving practices and policies in early childhood programs. Extended Hours Available
Our reputation rests on providing excellent child care, and we know how busy parents can be. That’s why we offer early opening and late closing hours in our West Valley facility, starting at 5 a.m. on weekdays and staying open until 1 a.m. We also offer childcare on Saturdays from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. We can care for your kids during these extended hours based on availability; please call for availability as we meet state ratios.
In addition to providing after-hours care, we provide transportation to and from a number of local elementary schools. Unlike other daycare facilities in the area, we only use buses and passenger vehicles for transportation. We use buses because they have far better safety records than 15-passenger vans.
Safety First on the Playground
Play and movement is an important part of childhood, and our facility includes play areas both inside and outside. Indoors, we have toys and games suitable for a variety of interests. Outdoors, we use rubber-mat surfacing to help protect against scrapes, cuts and slips. This advanced material also removes the risk of sand or bark being swallowed or getting in eyes and ears.
We Pass All State Inspections
We care about your kids, and we want you to be confident knowing that our dedication translates to a warm, nurturing environment. We are committed to helping your kids thrive as they become lifelong learners. We are proud to say that we have passed all state inspections and that each of our childcare providers holds required certifications. In addition, we are accredited by our curriculum provider, TeachingStrategies, and we meet all National Head Start Program Performance Standards.
